I think it’s difficult to talk about mental health, because there is that stigma around it. I remember one of my best friends in high school, who I actually haven’t seen for a few years, but I really remember clearly, suffered from some really severe depression.

And because of that, she actually found herself losing friends, because friends didn’t feel like – I guess they kind of saw her drown in this stigma as being unstable, and they didn’t want to have to maybe be there for her when she broke down or anything.

And that’s kind of sad because really being able to talk about it – and I’ve learned this a lot recently – being able to talk about it is the best way to get through it. So it’s really unfortunate that there is that stigma, and I think to get around that, everybody just has to realize that it’s not that different and it’s so common, and I’m sure that everyone knows someone who is affected by it.
