Dre Devi K. Banerjee a obtenu un baccalauréat ès sciences dans le domaine de la microbiologie et de l'immunologie de l'Université McGill en 1995. Par la suite, elle a complété ses études de médecine, également à l'Université McGill, suivies d'une résidence en médecine interne à l'Hôpital général juif de Montréal et une surspécialisation en immunologie clinique et allergie au Centre universitaire de santé McGill. De 2004 à 2006, elle a participé à des recherches en laboratoire à l'Université Rockefeller de New York dans le domaine du rôle des cellules dendritiques dans la réponse immunitaire contre le cancer. De retour à Montréal, elle a exercé en immunologie clinique et en allergie au Centre universitaire de santé McGill jusqu'en 2019, puis en communauté, traitant des patients souffrant d'allergies, d'asthme et d'urticaire. Le Dr Banerjee est membre du Collège des médecins du Québec, du Collège royal des médecins et chirurgiens du Canada, de l'Association des allergologues et immunologistes du Québec et de l'American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
