Sierra's personal experience as a competitive athlete and her own journey of overcoming injuries ignited her passion for helping others in their recovery and pursuit of peak athletic performance. She pursued her academic studies in the field of Kinesiology and Physical Therapy to further develop her knowledge and skills. During her time at Queen's University and McGill University, Sierra actively engaged in volunteer work with various sports teams and organizations. These experiences allowed her to gain valuable insights into working with athletes and deepened her interest in this area. She contributed her expertise to the men's and women's hockey teams, women's soccer teams, competitive gymnastics gyms, Rugby Quebec, and even the Montreal Alouettes football team. Following the completion of her studies, Sierra joined the team at McGill University's Sport Medicine Clinic, where she had the opportunity to refine her skills in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. In her role as the head therapist for the McGill Redbirds basketball team, she provided specialized care and support to athletes, further solidifying her understanding of the unique needs and challenges they face. Sierra firmly believes in the power of movement as a form of medicine.
