Martine is a highly qualified physiotherapist with a strong commitment to providing quality care to her patients. She graduated from Dalhousie University, where she obtained a Master's degree in Physiotherapy in 2011, following her earlier completion of a Bachelor's degree in Science of Kinesiology in 2008. To ensure she stays up to date with the latest advancements in her field, Martine has pursued additional education and training. She has completed various courses and certifications, including level 1 & 2 manual therapy (CPA orthopedic division), level 1 & 2 acupuncture and dry needling, APTEI: Advanced Lumbo-Pelvic Complex & Advanced Lower Extremity, Kinesiotape level 1 & 2, and Sports Physiotherapy by Bruce Craven. She has also completed the WorkWell Functional Capacity Evaluation course and the Cancer C.A.R.E. Rehabilitation course. Martine's particular interest in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation has led her to take numerous courses in this area, including training in advanced vestibular and concussion techniques, Impact training, and Padula NVPT levels 1-3, with ongoing training. Martine has a passion for sports and has been involved in various athletic activities throughout her life. She has participated in cross-country running, golf, soccer, and volleyball, and played on AAA and provincial teams during high school. During her studies, she served as a trainer/therapist for the Dalhousie football team, and she has continued to fulfill this role with the Ramblers Junior A hockey team in Amherst from 2011 to 2013 and again from 2017 to 2019. Outside of her professional life, Martine enjoys spending time with her family, engaging in a variety of activities together. They share a love for hockey, figure skating, traveling, going for hikes, and boating, among other interests. Martine's extensive training, diverse skill set, and involvement in sports contribute to her ability to provide comprehensive and specialized care to her patients.
