Dr. Victoria E. Cook is a dedicated physician specializing in Pediatrics and Allergy & Clinical Immunology. Dr. Cook completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Victoria in 2006. Seeking further academic and research opportunities, she moved to Edmonton and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Neuroscience from the University of Alberta in 2008. She then continued her studies at the University of Alberta, earning her Medical Doctorate (MD) in 2012. Driven by her desire to return to the west coast, Dr. Cook moved to Vancouver to complete her Pediatrics Residency at BC Children's Hospital, affiliated with the University of British Columbia. Building on her expertise in pediatrics, she pursued Fellowship training in Pediatric Allergy and Clinical Immunology at UBC and BC Children's Hospital, which she successfully completed in June 2017. Dr. Cook has developed special interests in various areas within her field, including food allergy, primary immunodeficiency, and autoinflammatory syndromes. Her dedication to advancing medical knowledge is evident through her ongoing research projects with the Division of Allergy at BC Children's Hospital. Additionally, she is involved in the development of a mobile tool for patients concerned about possible food allergies, demonstrating her commitment to providing accessible and comprehensive care to her patients. With her combined expertise in Pediatrics and Allergy & Clinical Immunology, Dr. Victoria E. Cook is well-equipped to diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric allergic and immunological conditions.
