Smart phones are great for about 15- and 16-year-olds.

They're terrific because they can keep them in touch with the school better - the schools do a lot on Facebook. The teachers actually put stuff on there for the whole class on Facebook, so they're great.

But really they can also be used for social media, the bullying, all that other stuff you want to be concerned about. Predators are out there fishing on the internet for children. So you don't want them to have mobile internet wherever they go.

Children nowadays are being sent links by people. So they're being sent internet links and they're opening them up. And they're even doing that on non-smart phones. So parents need to be aware of how dangerous these phones can be for children. And also go to your cell phone provider and ask them about parental blocks.

There's a whole bunch of blocks you can have put on phones for children. So you want to make sure you know what's available to you and for your children and make sure you get those critical blocks put on their phone so they can't be sent dangerous links.
