She began her academic journey at McMaster University, where she earned an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry, with a minor in biochemistry. After completing her undergraduate studies, Dr. Niewczas pursued her chiropractic education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. During her time there, she took additional training in medical acupuncture, becoming a certified Contemporary Medical Acupuncture provider. This additional expertise allows her to incorporate acupuncture techniques into her chiropractic practice to further benefit her patients. Dr. Niewczas is also certified in SpiderTech kinesiotaping, which involves the application of specialized tape to support muscles and joints, aid in pain relief, and enhance performance and recovery. This technique can be used alongside chiropractic adjustments to optimize treatment outcomes. In 2016, Dr. Niewczas further expanded her skills by completing training in animal chiropractic, earning her certification as a Certified Animal Chiropractor.
