Dr. Dennis Milenov is the owner and clinic director of Axis Chiropractic. He has a strong background in health and science, having graduated from York University in 1997 with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Health Science, along with a certificate in Fitness Assessment and Exercise Counseling. After personally experiencing the benefits of chiropractic care, Dr. Milenov pursued his passion and attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where he completed a four-year program and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic diploma in 2001. He further expanded his skills by obtaining certification in Clinical Acupuncture, enabling him to offer additional healing modalities to his patients. In his practice, Dr. Milenov incorporates various techniques such as laser therapy, kinesiotaping, myofascial release, rehabilitative exercises, activator method, and custom orthotic therapy. Since 2001, Dr. Milenov has operated a family practice in Uxbridge, where he treats patients ranging from pain relief to wellness care. He has a special interest in working with individuals of all ages and is dedicated to helping them lead healthier lives. Dr. Milenov adopts a comprehensive treatment approach, aiming to improve, maintain, and optimize his patients' overall health and well-being. Dr. Milenov's initial fascination with chiropractic care was sparked by his involvement in competitive sports from a young age. He personally experienced the benefits of chiropractic in managing sports-related injuries and enhancing his overall health. His chiropractic care played a significant role in his successful athletic career as a four-time OUA All-Star with the York University Water Polo Team. He also had the honor of representing Canada at various international competitions as part of the National Team. Apart from his professional commitments, Dr. Milenov actively participates in the Uxbridge community. He has volunteered as a coach for several local youth organizations, including the Uxbridge Secondary School Swim Team, Uxbridge Flyers Track & Field Club, Uxbridge Youth Baseball Association, Uxbridge Soccer Club, and the Uxbridge Jr. NBA program. During his leisure time, Dr. Milenov enjoys spending quality time with his friends and family. He has a passion for adventure travel and is a member of the Uxbridge Cycling Club. On weekends, you can often find him cycling through the picturesque rolling hills of Uxbridge, indulging in his love for outdoor activities.
