He completed his Optometry degree at Manipal University in India before further enhancing his skills through the International Optometric Bridging Program at the University of Waterloo School of Optometry & Vision Science in Canada. During his education, Dr. Brar had the opportunity to gain valuable clinical experience at L V Prasad Eye Hospital in India. This externship provided him with exposure to various specialties within ophthalmology, including glaucoma, retina, cornea, pediatrics, oculoplastics, neuroophthalmology, and low vision. Working in these different areas allowed him to develop strong clinical and patient management skills, enabling him to provide comprehensive eye care to a diverse range of patients. Dr. Brar's passion for serving underserved communities led him to participate in several volunteer expeditions aimed at delivering eye care to remote areas in India. These experiences allowed him to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals who may have had limited access to eye care services. By volunteering his time and expertise, he demonstrated his commitment to improving eye health and addressing the needs of communities in need. With his combined education, international experience, and dedication to community service, Dr. Brar brings a well-rounded approach to his optometric practice.
