Dr. Anu Ondhia is an optometrist practicing in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) with a strong focus on ocular pathology, clinical research, and surgical co-management. She obtained her optometric degree from Aston University in the United Kingdom. Following that, she pursued residency training at Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham, UK, under the guidance of world-renowned ophthalmic subspecialists. To further enhance her expertise, Dr. Ondhia completed the International Optometric Bridging Program at the University of Waterloo. She has since been practicing full-scope optometry in the GTA, providing comprehensive eye care services. In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Ondhia has a passion for training and educating optometric and medical students. She also serves as a mentor to clinical staff. Currently, she holds the position of Clinical Optometric Director at TLC Oakville, a vision correction center. Moreover, she serves as an adjunct clinical instructor and site lead for the University of Waterloo Externship Program, where she plays a vital role in shaping the education and training of future optometrists. With her extensive experience and dedication to her profession, Dr. Anu Ondhia is actively contributing to the field of optometry through clinical practice, research, and education.
