Dr. Amiirah Aujnarain Bio
Dr. Aujnarain studied medicine at the University of Ottawa. At the Hospital for Sick Children, she completed her Pediatrics training and completed her subspecialty training in Allergy and Immunology. She loves being on the cutting edge of research and new therapies since completing her Master’s degree in Immunology at McMaster. Her special interests include both immune therapy and targeted biologic therapy for allergic diseases. She has presented at conferences both nationally and internationally in regards to diseases of the immune system.
Dr. Aujnarain runs Kindercare’s Oral Immunotherapy (OIT) program with Dr. Melanie Conway. Learn more about our OIT program here: oralimmunotherapy.ca
Outside of academia and medicine, Dr. Aujnarain enjoys trying new foods as well travelling to new places. On a weekly basis, you can find her enjoying the latest movie as her favourite pastime is watching a great flick!
