  I have been seeing Dr. Abdallah for most of my life. She does not take my medical concerns seriously. She belittles me for asking questions and berates me if I seek treatment at a walk-in clinic instead of going to her. I do everything I can to avoid seeing her or speaking to her because she causes me such stress and anxiety. Her answer to almost everything is to lose weight. While I understand that being overweight can cause health problems, surely this is not the explanation for anything and everything. She has never provided me with any treatment options following my motor vehicle accident, and berated me when I told her I had been seeing a chiropractor. She has accused me of asking for narcotics. She has screamed at me over the phone for something that ended up being her receptionist's fault. She has taken a personal phone call during my appointment. She inserts her personal beliefs and values into the conversation. She is not personable or friendly, nor do I trust her with my health care. I worry about ever getting pregnant and having to see her regularly for that. Even the staff at the Fort William Clinic where she works do not like dealing with her. I will continue to attend the after hours clinic/walk-in clinic/health unit/hospital until I am able to find myself a new family doctor.
