Cancer: Lung Cancer

Lung cancer is the deadliest cancer worldwide, and the most common cause is smoking. It can develop in any part of the lung, but the majority originate from the epithelial cells (the cells that line the larger and smaller airways). Lung cancer treatment may involve surgery, chemotherapy and/or radiation.
