Dr. Mehaffie is the board-certified Medical Director at The Urgent Care – Westbank and The Urgent Care – LaPlace and recently The Urgent Care – Mid-City. He earned his doctorate from Louisiana State University Medical Center at Shreveport. He completed his post-graduate training at East Jefferson General Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident from 2000-2001. For more than 15 years, Dr. Mehaffie has worked in a variety of medical settings, providing the most outstanding family medical care available.
