Kirtley Thornton Bio

Born in St. Louis, Mo., in 1946, Dr. Thornton completed his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the New School for Social Research in New York City in 1981. Along with his colleagues, he formed the Center for Health Psychology (or Neurotherapy Center) in 1985 and has been working in the area of Quantitative EEG for the past 15 years. He was one of the original contributors to the Journal Of Neurotherapy, which is the key journal in this highly specialized and technical area. Dr. Thornton is an internationally known psychologist whose work in the area of the Quantitative EEG has been published in seven different peer reviewed journals.
