Dr. Veronique Huot Sport and Exercise Medicine Physician B.Kin, MD, C.M., CCFP (SEM), Dip Sport Med Dr. Veronique Huot is a Sport and Exercise Medicine Physician practicing in Calgary. Born and raised in Quebec City, she moved to Calgary in 2010 to pursue her Olympic dream in long track speed skating. While training at the Calgary Olympic Oval, she completed a degree in Kinesiology at the University of Calgary in 2014. Once retired from her skating career, she completed one year of Physiotherapy training at Laval University, Qc, before starting medical school. She graduated with a Doctorate of Medicine and Master in Surgery (MDCM) from McGill University in 2019. She then completed her Family Medicine residency in Calgary, followed by a Sport and Exercise Medicine fellowship. She is certified as a Sport and Exercise Medicine specialist by the Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine. Dr. Huot can provide services in English and in French. She is an avid cyclist, mountain biker and hiker in the summer, and she enjoys downhill and cross-country skiing in the winter. She is also part of a Latin Dance team and has performed at multiple events around the city of Calgary, including the Calgary International Salsa Congress. As a former coach and personal trainer, she has a passion for helping her patients live an active lifestyle. She looks forward to help you with any musculoskeletal issue.
