My wife was involved in a car accident several years ago and was referred to Dr. Shimon. After doing some testing, he told her that she has irreparable and he would forward the report to her family doctor. 15 months later, after several calls from her doctor and a few she made herself, the report still has not been delivered and Dr. Shimon's office didn't even have the courtesy to reply to any of the messages. I realize that he is busy, but 15 months and still nothing. Are we that starved for doctors here in Cape Breton that we have to settle for this kind of unprofessionalism?

A family member had a slight stroke and saw Dr Shimon in the hospital He had dizziness and after 2 weeks Dr Shimon advised him he did not know why this was occurring. she was released and Dr Shimon said his office would call in 6 weeks to make an appointment to follow up After not hearing from the office 8 weeks later I called 7 times and left messages and got no reply. It is now 10 months later and still no word. Very poor medical care, he is not very knowledgeable and seemed to have the opinion "Live With It" He should not be paid by MSI as he does not deliver.Would not recommend this Dr. to anyone.
