Dr. James Motyer, Doctor of Chiropractic is from right here in Calgary. After getting his Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from University of Calgary in 2015, James moved on to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where he graduated in 2019. Dr. James is also certified in Active Release Therapy (ART), and in functional integrative acupuncture. His focus is on evidence based treatments involving rehabilitation, soft tissue therapy, and joint mobilization and manipulation. Another exciting certification that Dr. James has is that he's Titleist Performance Institute Certified. This means that he's trained in golf-specific injury assessment and rehabilitation techniques to get players back out on the course. In his spare time Dr. James is an avid golfer, hockey player, and an outdoors-man-of-all-things Alberta has to offer from fishing and hiking, to skiing and hitting the mountains. Dr. James is a welcome addition to the chiropractic team at Active Sports Therapy.
