Dr. Izenburg helped my sister in the emergency room, and saw her afterward in his office. He really listened to her symptoms and helped her get the treatment she needed.

Dr. Izenberg's bedside manners are very poor. He could definitely give his ALS patients more to ask their questions and not cut his answers short. Also, Dr. Izenberg should not to use his personal cell phone to text someone during my appointment time with him. I was speaking to him about my current ALS conditions and he decided that texting someone during my time with him was more important. And to top it off, Dr. Izenberg did not even excuse himself or apologize for using his phone while I was speaking to him about how I was feeling. Not at all appropriate and I was very disappointment by my neurologist.

I saw Dr Izenberg on 2 separate occasions. I didn't have to wait very long, his office appeared to be very well organized, and he had very good equipment. He was very thorough and took the time to explain my issues and his recommendations. I particularly liked the fact that he posted his clinical notes on 'My Chart' where I could download and / or share with my other Medical Practitioners. I did have to contact his office with a question and they responded within a reasonable time. One of my better experiences with Doctors.
