My name is Ashley and I am a labor trained doula with DONA International. I am also a member of Doula C.A.R.E. I have a true desire to help make the birth experience a positive time in a woman and her partners life. I believe that every woman has the right to a birth that she will look back on with positive memories, whether it be natural or medical, vaginal or a c section, at home or in the hospital or any combination. I also believe that every woman should be treated as an equal with respect and without prejudice! I have experience with women of all sizes and fully support a healthy pregnancy and delivery no matter what your weight! As a plus size woman myself i know the type cast that you can get set in and am a believer that as long as your body is doing what it is meant to do, weight should not be a deciding factor in your birthing choices!
