Dr. Tina Bartel Nickel graduated in 2020 from the Doctor of Chiropractic Program at University of Western States (UWS) in Portland, Oregon with cum laude distinction. Prior to studying chiropractic, she received a Bachelor of Science in Human biology at UWS (2018), and a Bachelor of Science in biological and physical sciences (2016) at the University of Alberta. Dr. Tina is trained in Diversified chiropractic spinal manipulation and enjoys incorporating other techniques into her practice including myofascial release, instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation, cupping, and rehabilitative exercises. Her skills and emphasis on evidence-informed care enable her to treat a diverse patient population and a wide array of conditions. When not working at the clinic, Dr. Tina is an avid outdoor adventurer and spends her time hiking, camping and skiing. She also plays competitive soccer and is working on becoming a certified yoga instructor. Dr. Tina enjoys working with all patients from children to adults to seniors. She works with each patient to create an individualized treatment plan tailored to their needs. No matter who you are, Dr. Tina strives to get you out of pain and keep you moving so you can continue to do what you love.
