Dr. Dawn received her Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Toronto in 2007. She went on to complete her Doctor of Chiropractic at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, graduating Magna Cum Laude with Clinic Honours in 2012. Dr. Dawn is trained in Diversified Chiropractic Spinal Manipulation. She is always interested in learning new techniques to help her patients and since graduating from chiropractic college she has continued her education and has attained certification in Graston Technique, Kinesiotaping, Shockwave therapy and Levels 1 and 2 Functional Dry Needling. Dr. Dawn is among a small number of chiropractors in Edmonton that are certified to perform functional dry needling/IMS. Her unique skill set and emphasis on evidence-based care helps her to effectively treat a diverse patient population and a wide array of neuromusculosketetal conditions affecting the spine and extremities. Having suffered from headaches for many years herself, Dr. Dawn has a special interest in diagnosing and treating headaches and neck pain disorders. She has been a guest speaker that the Running Room and enjoys working with runners of all levels and helping them work towards their unique goals. When she is not helping her patients, Dr. Dawn enjoys spending time with her husband Scott and their dog Jagger. She is addicted to true crime podcasts and on Sundays you can find her watching NFL football - go 49ers!
