She obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, where she gained extensive knowledge and expertise in chiropractic care. Additionally, she received acupuncture training from the McMaster University Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program, expanding her treatment options. Before pursuing chiropractic studies, Dr. Yuen completed her Bachelor of Science degree at McMaster University, with a double major in Biology and Psychology. This diverse educational background allows her to approach patient care from a holistic perspective, considering both the physical and psychological aspects of health. Dr. Yuen specializes in various manual techniques, including motion palpation institute, Graston® technique, functional anatomy palpation, and upper-limb functional assessment. By utilizing evidence-informed practices, she ensures that her treatment plans are effective and tailored to each patient's unique needs. With her caring personality and genuine concern for her patients' well-being, Dr. Yuen aims to help them live life to the fullest. She strongly believes in providing individualized treatment plans that promote rapid recovery and prevent future injuries.
