Dr. Suharto Ongko Dr. Ongko is a long-time resident of Mississauga. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Toronto. He then went on to pursue his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Dr. Ongko was happy to move back to Mississauga after his education, founding the Active Family Chiropractic and Wellness Centre in 1999. In order to provide better care for his patients, Dr. Ongko continues to advance his treatment techniques by taking various courses and seminars. Some of the specialty techniques that he provides include Nimmo soft tissue therapy, the ProAdjuster technique, Impulse Adjusting technique, Graston techniques, and Kinesiotaping. Dr. Ongko is one of the first chiropractors in Mississauga to implement the ProAdjuster technique. His chiropractic technique is a combination of several styles, depending on what is most appropriate for the patient. Dr. Ongko has been voted as the 2022 Platinum Reader's Choice Award Winner for Best Chiropractor in Mississauga, as well as the 2014, 2015, & 2017 winner of the Top Choice Award for best Chiropractor in Mississauga. Dr. Ongko is an active member of the Ontario Chiropractic Association and the Canadian Chiropractic Association. Dr. Ongko and his family are proud to call Mississauga their home.
