Dr. Gorchynski is an experienced chiropractor who has been practicing in Toronto since graduating from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1984. In 1986, he established the Bayview Finch Chiropractic Clinic, where he continues to provide patient care. Dr. Gorchynski's dedication to the chiropractic profession is evident through his involvement in various associations. He served on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Chiropractic Association from 1995, taking on roles such as Secretary Treasurer, President, and Past-President. He remained a Director on the Board until 2005. In addition, he represented Ontario on the Canadian Chiropractic Association's Board of Governors, the national body of the chiropractic profession, starting in 2000. He held positions on the Executive Committee, including Secretary Treasurer, Vice-President, and President from 2005 to 2007. Dr. Gorchynski also served as Chairman of the Board in his final year on the Board of Governors in 2008. While actively involved in association work, Dr. Gorchynski continued his patient care at the Bayview Finch Chiropractic Clinic. He pursued further training in Activator Chiropractic Methods Technique, achieving an Advanced Proficiency Rating. Additionally, he served as an instructor for the technique for many years. Dr. Gorchynski has also undertaken extensive training in complementary chiropractic techniques, enhancing his ability to provide effective chiropractic healthcare. Before becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Gorchynski obtained degrees in political science and commerce, as well as public policy from the University of Manitoba. He also worked as a civil servant, holding various positions within the Manitoba Government, such as Systems and Management Consultant, Treasury Board Officer, Program Director, and Assistant Deputy Minister. During his tenure, he served as a director on four industry boards, including chairing two of them—one in the cultural sector and the other a legislated public commission. Dr. Gorchynski's diverse background, extensive experience, and commitment to the chiropractic profession have shaped his approach to patient care and his contributions to the chiropractic community in both provincial and national capacities.
