Dr. Son is a chiropractor who graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 2003 and subsequently opened Nguyen Chiropractic in the fall of the same year. In addition to her chiropractic training, she has pursued additional education and certifications to enhance her treatment options for patients. She completed her acupuncture training through the McMaster University Medical Contemporary Acupuncture Program in 2003 and has since incorporated acupuncture into her treatment approach alongside chiropractic care. Dr. Son expanded her skills by studying CranioSacral Therapy at the Upledger Institute in 2005, further diversifying her treatment modalities. Dr. Son is also well-versed in Pilates and its rehabilitative benefits. She completed Stott Pilates Rehabilitative Training in 2005 under the guidance of Melanie Byford-Young, a Master STOTT PILATES Instructor and Trainer at Pacific NorthWest Pilates in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Son believes in the power of movement and actively incorporates Pilates training into her patient care, helping individuals maintain an active lifestyle and improve their quality of life. To deepen her understanding of holistic practices, Dr. Son completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training with Gina Wasserlein-Peto at the Downtown Yoga Studio in 2006. She also pursued meditation training, obtaining her 200-hour Meditation Teacher certification with Dr. Pradeep Kumar in the Naturality Meditation Teacher Training Program in Hamilton, Ontario in 2007. In 2009, she further expanded her repertoire by completing Unata Aerial Yoga Teacher Training in New York. With over a decade of experience leading Pilates, yoga, aerial yoga, and meditation classes, Dr. Son is not only a skilled practitioner but also an instructor. She currently offers teacher training programs in yoga, mat and reformer Pilates instruction, and aerial yoga. Dr. Son's commitment to continuing education and her diverse skill set allow her to provide comprehensive and integrative care to her patients. She believes in the transformative power of movement and offers a range of treatment options to help individuals achieve optimal health and well-being.
