Sheena Vij, Licensed Chiropractor Dr. Sheena is a health and wellness advocate. She was introduced to chiropractic during her undergraduate degree at the University of Winnipeg, and she fell in love with it immediately. Dr. Sheena attended Chiropractic School in Bloomington, Minnesota along with her now husband, who is also a chiropractor! After graduating in December 2019, she moved back to Winnipeg where she grew up, to be closer to family and serve her home community. Outside of work, Dr.Sheena enjoys going for long walks in the summer, travelling and spending time with her loved ones. Her mission is to spread awareness about the impact of musculoskeletal conditions and help you live a pain-free, active lifestyle. She believes in an integrative health care system, and focuses on patient-specific and patient-centred care. Dr. Sheena enjoys working with patients of all ages and all occupations. Additionally, she has a special interest in caring for pregnant women, throughout their pregnancy and labour, as well as newborns and children to help them live a healthy life right from the start. After a thorough evaluation of the spine, Dr. Sheena will determine a specific individualized treatment plan that works for you. Dr. Sheena provides chiropractic adjustments using manual and activator techniques. She also performs Graston technique (Instrument Assisted Soft tissue therapy), trigger point therapy, cupping, functional muscle testing, postural assessments and taping, as needed. Through chiropractic care she wants you to achieve optimal health & wellness!
