Biosimilars are biological products used in the treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis. They are biological products produced from pre-existing Biologics. Symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis include joint pain, swelling and stiffness. At first, rheumatoid arthritis usually only attacks a few joints, but over time it affects more. Early treatment is important as it can make the disease more likely to go into remission. Unlike some other types of arthritis, the chronic swelling from RA can cause permanent damage to the joints. Rheumatoid arthritis treatments include disease modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs), nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications (NSAIDs), analgesics (painkillers) and biologics (medications produced from living organisms or components of living organisms).

Uric acid is a natural waste product that forms when the body breaks down purines, which are found in certain foods and are also produced by the body. Normally, the kidneys filter out the uric acid, and it is excreted in urine. However, in people with gout, either the body produces excessive uric acid or the kidneys are unable to remove it efficiently, resulting in high levels of uric acid in the blood.

Doesn’t follow up on referrals, tests, appointments. Rude and unsupportive bedside manner. Treats patients like an inconvenience.

I was booked to receive a call but living remotely the signal didn't go through. I spoke to the receptionist about it explaining thoroughly. We booked another day and she again phoned me, the ring didn't go through. When I was able to phone back she had no time for me, asked me for my email address, and then said she's too busy to even take it after she struggled with it saying she had 6 calls on hold. She told me that I lived in a terrible area, why would I live there...? A message I was able to retrieve she gave me an hour to phone back which I did and she said it was too late she had booked someone in my place. This was 13 minutes after 9 am and I would have to phone between 9 and 10 am. She was all frustrated because she left 2 messages for me....(really) We rebooked but she scolded me three times. She was extremely rude and inconsiderate and acted very poorly for being in the helping field.

Excellent doctor. Diagnosed quickly with an ultrasound in his office. Treated with an injection at that time to relieve pain and given prescription and follow up appointments.

Initially I was uncertain about my diagnosis but after being in Dr Rachapalli’s presence my anxiousness was all but over. He is patient, kind and “quiet of voice” in his explanation of what he believes to be his theory and how to treat the symptoms. Dr. Rachapalli is an amazing doctor and such a gentleman. My case is particularly challenging and he works with both myself and my husband each visit to ensure we are a “team” and reassures us he can be reached any time between appointments!
