Dr. Sarah Birkett Bio
Dr. Sarah Birkett received her undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. After 4 years on the east coast, Dr. Birkett decided to come home to Ontario to really pursue her love and passion for health and wellness. She attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic and completed her certification in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture at McMaster University.
Dr. Birkett believes the cornerstone to health is through an active and balanced lifestyle. She believes in treating the human body as a whole to help her patients reach their optimum health goals. Dr. Birkett assesses and treats both the cause and origin of each problem through joint and muscle palpation, soft tissue therapy as well as functional and lifestyle assessment. She encourages her patients to live a balanced lifestyle through daily activities and healthy eating.
