Dr. Kjaer (pronounced ‘care’) has over 25 years of clinical experience to help you get more out of your life: family, sports, hobbies, work, etc. Techniques create results Dr. Kjaer has experience and knowledge in various methods of spinal and extremity rehabilitation and treatment. A wide variety of conditions from low back pain and headaches to arthritis and sciatica can be resolved. He can decrease pain and symptoms, rehabilitate injuries, and improve performance. People of all ages are cared for at this family oriented office. Dr. Kjaer knows the Activator Technique. This is an instrument-assisted technique which gives consistent low-force, high-speed chiropractic adjustments to the joints of the spine and extremities. He also applies techniques with his hands that include the Palmer Package, Gonstead, SOT, Thompson, and Diversified. Soft tissue techniques such as Active Release Therapy, Acupressure and Myofascial Release are applied to muscles, ligaments and tendons. As with any treatments, results vary from person to person. He advances his knowledge and treatment techniques by taking continuing education studies. Education Dr. Kjaer was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. He received his Bachelor of Science (Biology) from the University of Toronto. In 1993, he graduated with Magna Cum Laude honours from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Palmer College was the first chiropractic college – founded in 1895. Following graduation, Dr. Kjaer returned to Ontario where he practiced in London in a busy multi-doctor office. Public Speaking Dr. Kjaer has given over 420 public lectures on how to maximize quality of life. He is actively sought to speak to groups and businesses about health, wellness, chiropractic health care and ergonomic issues. In addition to his lectures, Dr. Kjaer provides ergonomic assessments and training seminars for businesses to lower time-loss accidents due to musculo-skeletal and repetitive strain injuries.
