Dr. Blackburn received an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from McMaster prior to graduating top of her class from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2008. She is a Graston Technique® Specialist, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist and has training in Laser therapy, Active Release Techniques® and Athletic Movement Assessment. Dr. Blackburn incorporates manual techniques and therapies to help patients get well and function at their best. She helps infants to the elderly, office workers to athletes. Dr. Blackburn achieved her Advanced 2 Examination in Classical Ballet in 2003, completed the Boston Marathon in 2009, the New York City Marathon in 2013 and raced in the Long Distance Triathlon World Championships in Sweden in 2015. Dr. Blackburn is Past President of the Waterloo Regional Chiropractic Society. She enjoys being active outside with her husband and toddler.
