Dr. Monte Venis has over 30 years of experience and expertise to help you get well. He treats a variety of spinal-related conditions, including patients that have suffered from injuries due to auto, slip-and-fall, sport and work accidents. Dr. Venis has had success treating back and neck pain, headaches, numbness and tingling as well as arm, shoulder, leg and elbow pain. Dr. Venis’ main inspiration for becoming a chiropractor comes from his genuine desire to help people get well and stay well so they can enjoy their life’s activities. His mission is to offer patients a thorough evaluation and comprehensive variety of natural healing methods to assist in their health recovery. A native of Toronto, Canada, Dr. Venis moved to Clearwater in 1971. A graduate of Clearwater High School and St. Petersburg Junior College, he went on to receive his Bachelor’s of Science and Doctorate of Chiropractic Degrees in 1981 from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri. In addition, Dr. Venis has completed post-graduate studies in orthopedics, sports and auto-related injuries. Dr. Venis is a Certified Independent Medical Examiner, a Diplomat of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and is a member of the Florida Chiropractic Association and the Pinellas County Chiropractic Association. In a continued effort to educate the public about the body’s function and keeping it healthy, Dr. Venis provides educational and enlightening seminars on the maintenance of good health. This includes health and fitness consultations at local health clubs as well as back and neck safety programs for local businesses. Dr. Venis is often consulted by attorneys and insurance companies for his expert opinion in personal injury and auto accident cases. Back and Neck Pain Center is ready to help! Dr. Venis provides care for individuals involved in auto accidents and various other injuries. He enjoys helping patients that are experiencing pain in the back, neck, arm and leg along with numbness, tingling and headaches. Personally, Dr. Venis enjoys fishing, ice skating, scuba diving and sailing and is a faithful fan of the Tampa Bay Lightning Hockey team.
