Went to get my sore shoulder checked and she immediately went on about WCB and then left me without any direction what to do next. Had to rebook appointment 2 weeks later to get paper work signed for Short Term Dis and she went off again about WCB. She argues with you when you explain what you need. A normal half hour appointment takes over 2 and a half hours. Going to be looking for a new GP. She was decent when I first went to her, she has become more abrasive and rude.

Absolutely horrible. I had a nerve problem that was giving me TREMENDOUS pain. I reached out to my DR who was booked up so I was placed with a colleague. I just couldn’t take the pain any longer and was desperate for help. No keep in mine I haven’t used any pain narcotics for 14 years after a surgery. So this was big for me to ask for help. She prescribed me a nerve medication that was going to be accumulative and take a while to build up and start on a low dose. I asked for 3 doses of Percocet for unbearable break thru pain. She not only declined to help me as I sat there crying in pain but continued to insult me by telling me if she prescribed too many narcotics over time, a governing body would make her take a class! It was like she was holding out on a bonus she may get for low prescriptions. She then when further to insult and degrade me by saying “today it will be 6 pills then tomorrow 6 pills… like WHAT? I have NO history of abuse and I also work as a nurse so this presumption was disgusting. She felt this medication that may give me relief somewhere how the road was enough. Being a nurse, if I saw a patient crying in pain from let’s say pancreatitis and a Dr said “their on antibiotics so that should be enough” I would be absolutely mortified. She failed as a Dr as far as I am concerned. We help our patients as we all know, pain will impede recovery. I walked out feeling absolutely defeated, desperate and in tears not knowing what I was going to do. NO patient should ever feel abandoned when asking for help. I said to my husband “I can see why pain can cause suicide or force them to self medicate” Horrible Dr. She in my opinion should take some more courses.
