Dr. Maria Fincati earned her Medical Degree in 2001 from the University of Alberta. She specialized in Family Medicine at the University of Calgary, and has since worked at various clinics and hospitals in the Calgary area. She has authored and contributed to several medical articles in Family Medicine. Her passion for skin health lead to a pursuit of formal training, earning a post-graduate Diploma in Practical Dermatology with Distinction, from Cardiff University, Wales, UK in 2016. Aside from her clinic work, she enjoys her role as a Clinical Professor at the University of Calgary, Cummings School of Medicine. She has been teaching medical students since 2010, receiving numerous awards including the Gold Award for Teaching Excellence.
