Dr. Manuel Gil Bio

Dr. Manuel Gil graduated with highest honours in 2013 from McMaster University with a Honours Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. During his undergraduate years, he volunteered at the Hamilton Urban Core Community Health Center as a chiropractic assistant which sparked his interest in the profession. Dr. Gil started chiropractic school in 2014, winning the R. Lloyd Pennington Memorial award for the highest admission score and the CMCC Entrance Scholarship for the highest GPA upon admission. While Dr. Gil was completing his chiropractic studies, he held leadership positions on several committees, most notably the Student Canadian Chiropractic Association where he sat as vice-president and subsequently president. Dr. Gil graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2018. Dr. Gil has several years of experience treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, and has special interest in treating sports injuries, having volunteered his expertise for a local semi-pro football team. He has advanced training in instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy, and enjoys incorporating deep tissue work along with his adjustments. In his spare time, Dr. Gil enjoys hiking with his wife, spending time with his family, and cooking.
