Dr. Lauren Stewart is entering her 8th year of practice as a chiropractor, splitting her time between her downtown Toronto clinic and Fairview Chiropractic and Rehabilitation Clinic. Lauren graduated from Brock University in 2010 with an Honours degree in Kinesiology before attending Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Growing up in Hamilton, she was very active in the basketball community, winning several city and provincial championships throughout her high school career. She went on to play at Brock University as captain of the women’s varsity team. Throughout her basketball career, she experienced a wide range of injuries that sparked her interest and ultimately led to her career in health care. Dr. Stewart uses a wide variety of techniques including medical acupuncture, electrotherapy, spinal manipulation, and myofascial release to help her patients reach their optimal health goals. “My mission is to educate and empower my patients to take control of their health while working WITH them to improve overall function and quality of life.” In her spare time, you will most likely find Lauren in the gym or planning her next travel destination.
