I went to ER for severe nosebleed. She didn't do the usual prep for nasal packing nor did th standard routine test like bp and blood test. She just ahoved the 7.5 cm tampon in my nose. I had to push her hand because i can already feel the pressure behind my eye. I told her it was too long. She changd yo a smaller tampon andstarted to shove again the tampon in my nose, of course it's painful. Even with lidocaine applied, the pressure of pushing the tampon in your nose is already painful, how much more without anything applid to at least numb the affected area? Then she just left the tampjn half hanging from my nose and dismissed me like a fly. It was the nurse who actually discharged me. They advised me that i can go back to normal activities which I did. When i get to work I felt faint I has to call 911. I actually passed out while on the phone with 911. I had to be taken to ER again a few hours fter she discharged me! How incompetent. Her license should be revoked! What if i faint d while driving and had an accident?
