Dr. Kyle Etwaroo Bio

Dr. Kyle Etwaroo is a registered Chiropractor holding a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). He is also a certified Acupuncture provider with a certificate in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University. Additionally, Kyle received an Honours Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from McMaster University where he emphasized his studies in functional anatomy and exercise science. It was in his undergrad where he learned about the intricate workings of the body and saw the way manual techniques could be manipulated to improve musculoskeletal difficulties. This, in combination with his extensive knowledge of physical exercise and its importance in the healthy individual as well as the sick individual, it was decided that chiropractic medicine was a natural fit for his future career. In clinical rotations, he was a part of health team at Sherbourne Health Centre in downtown Toronto, which focused on providing care to low-income and LGBTQ+ communities with HIV. He was also part of the health team at the CMCC campus clinic in North York, which provided care to the general population in the surrounding suburb and the student body. With a wide array of experience from both clinical settings, he understands that patients respond effectively when their immediate health concerns are met and when the practitioner takes time to truly understand the needs and goals of the patient moving forward. Furthermore, he also shares an interest in performance and movement issues one might have, utilizing his knowledge in SFMA Level I protocol and physical exercise to achieve optimal function for all activities. Personally, Dr. Kyle Etwaroo is a resident of Toronto, and has grown up and lived in the York region since childhood. He is passionate about serving his community and looks to get involved where possible. In his off time, he enjoys all aspects of soccer, music, and food, all while spending time with family and friends. He loves to talk about current events and trends, and is always available when needed to provide a helping hand.

It's great that you're considering chiropractic care for various conditions. Chiropractors can indeed provide treatments to address neuromusculoskeletal issues, including those related to scoliosis, hip and pelvis pain, and shoulder arthritis. However, it's important to consult with a qualified healthcare professional, such as a local chiropractor, to determine the most appropriate treatment approach for your specific situation.

For scoliosis, chiropractic care may involve spinal adjustments and exercises aimed at improving posture and reducing spinal curvature. A chiropractor can assess the severity of scoliosis and provide appropriate treatment recommendations.

In the case of hip and pelvis pain, chiropractors can assess the underlying cause of the pain and provide treatments such as spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapy, exercises, and other modalities to alleviate symptoms and promote healing.

Regarding shoulder arthritis, chiropractors may offer non-surgical treatment options to help manage the condition. These options can include rest, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications (NSAIDs), chiropractic adjustments to improve range of motion, corticosteroid injections, and heat/cold therapy. However, the specific treatment plan would depend on the individual's condition and should be discussed with a chiropractor.

Remember, while chiropractic care can be beneficial for many individuals, it's important to have a thorough evaluation by a qualified healthcare professional to ensure that the treatments are appropriate for your specific needs. Consulting with a local chiropractor would allow you to discuss your condition in detail and determine the best course of action.
