Dr. Kevin Sims Bio

Dr. Kevin Sims holds a bachelor of Health Sciences from the University of Western Ontario. He later graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) and with clinic honours. Recently he completed a two-year, post-graduate fellowship program at CMCC in Chiropractic Sports Sciences. He continues to teach students how to diagnose and treat sport and orthopaedic injuries as faculty at the Chiropractic College. Dr. Sims is also a published author in peer reviewed scientific journals and is currently researching the effects of the throwing motion on youth baseball pitchers. He has been fortunate to work with many talented athletes including provincial and national level martial artists and track and field athletes as well as professional soccer players. Dr. Sims is an active member in the Durham sports community and enjoys running the lakeshore paths, kicking a ball around the soccer pitch, and knocking softballs out of the ball park.
