A graduate of Acadia University and the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, Dr. Whitton is a member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association, Ontario Chiropractic Association and the College of Chiropractors of Ontario. In her final year at chiropractic college, Dr. Whitton was selected as a treating intern for the Friends for Life Bike Rally, a 6-day bike ride from Toronto to Montreal in support of the Toronto People with AIDS Foundation, where she treated cyclist and crew members. She also volunteered extensively in her undergrad with children and youth with special needs. Dr. Whitton has completed extra training for paediatric populations, pregnant/ post-partum women, runners, and is certified in Mental Health First Aid. Most recently, Dr. Whitton completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training and is now a certified yoga teacher.
