Dr Jonathan Yu grew up in Hong Kong and spent the greater part of a decade in the Toronto area. He completed a BSc in Kinesiology at McMaster University in Hamilton before completing his Doctorate of Chiropractic program at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2018. Dr Jonathan now calls Vancouver home and is excited to be an integral part of the Backs in Action team! Dr. Jonathan takes a holistic approach to health care as part of his treatments. As part of his protocol, he also believes in addressing lifestyle, diet, and ergonomic concerns that contribute to pain and ill-health. Dr. Jonathan addresses patients of all ages and at all life stages. He takes a diversified approach to chiropractic care utilizing the drop-table and instrument-assisted adjustments. He is also a proponent of the Pain Neutralization Technique. In addition to English, Dr Jonathan speaks fluent Mandarin and Cantonese. When not treating patients, he enjoys hiking, and playing soccer and basketball. He is also an avid sports fan!
