We all forget things as we age, but that doesn’t mean we have dementia. Dementia isn’t just one condition - it’s a term that refers to symptoms that cause a decline in mental ability that interferes with daily life. Alzheimer's is the most common type of dementia and accounts for 60 to 80 percent of cases. Vascular dementia is the second most common dementia type and occurs after a stroke. My son gets along Very well with Dr Braganza (from Calgary). He sees him every few months for ADHD, anxiety and bullying victim issues. Dr Braganza is a WONDERFUL listener, he shows he cares about his young patients and gives me as the parent a sense of relief that he is there to help my child and not just medicate and forget as some might be tempted to do. I would recommend this Doctor to anyone's child, he is the best Doctor I have ever met!
