It's been nearly 8 years since my daughter was born - my experience was so traumatic, I still cringe today. She was new. She was the only dr. on when I went in. She refused me an epidural for 6 hours during active pushing (which is supposed to last only 15 min). She refused to call her superior dr. She kept whispering to nurses and would leave. When her superior arrived, she was kicked out as the baby was stuck and I was in clear need of help she didn't provide. I was so angry. The way I was treated was inhuman. It was the worst birth experience I could have ever imagined. Fellow friends having babies had similar and worse (and dangerous) experiences that year.
