Dr. H Chacon Andrade , Ophthalmologist, Red Deer obtained his medical doctor degree in Colombia, South America, in 1988 and practiced general medicine for three years in city centres and non-serviced rural areas. He then did his residency program in ophthalmology and graduated in 1994. Following graduation, he worked in his native country in general ophthalmology and laser surgery.

In 1998 he relocated to Calgary, Canada where he did a fellowship in cornea, cataract and refractive surgery with Dr. H Chacon Andrade , Ophthalmologist, Red Deer in association with the University of Calgary. In 2004, he completed a pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus fellowship at the Alberta Children's Hospital in association with the University of Calgary.

Dr. H Chacon Andrade , Ophthalmologist, Red Deer started his practice in Red Deer in 2004. His philosophy has always been to treat patients with the highest level of care by taking extra time to get to know patients and their families, and compassion through bedside manners.
