Ever since she was little, physical activity has been part of her life. Even today, she considers Gatineau Park to be her playground! She is passionate about cross-country skiing, road and mountain biking and more recently has started participating in trail running events. She therefore knows all the hidden corners of the Park and will be able to advise you on your next outing! She completed her doctorate in chiropractic at the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières (UQTR) after completing a specialized bachelor’s degree in health sciences at the University of Ottawa. She was also one of the healers of the UQTR cheerleading team. Her training allows her to offer quality care by integrating spinal manipulation, muscle work, kinesiotaping, soft tissue mobilization by instrument (Graston) and exercise prescription. Sport and the outdoors having an important place in her life, she recognizes the fact that a healthy body is a body in motion. Thus, she knows how to integrate progressive exercises and advice on the optimal practice of your activities into her care. Dr. Gagné-Montcalm is an energetic, caring chiropractor who listens to her patients. She keeps the patient’s goal in mind throughout the treatments and guides him towards a return to a functional state. She also encourages him to address the source of the dysfunction. She enjoys treating people of all ages (workers, seniors, athletes). For ten years, she worked with young people aged 0 to 16, giving them swimming, cycling and cross-country skiing lessons. It is an age group that she particularly likes. With a gentle and adapted approach, she knows how to offer care to babies, children and pregnant women.
