Dr. Bernard is a passionate chiropractor who strives to make a positive impact on people's lives every day. With a strong desire to help others, he pursued a career in the field of physiotherapy and chiropractic. At Wellness First Physiotherapy & Chiropractic, he has access to the necessary tools and resources to fulfill his passion and provide the best care possible to his patients. Dr. Bernard obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Prior to that, he earned a master's degree in business administration from the University of Sarasota in Florida. This diverse educational background allows him to not only excel in patient care but also understand the business aspects of running a healthcare practice. As a chiropractor, Dr. Bernard performs comprehensive assessments of various conditions. He utilizes a range of therapeutic interventions, including spinal and extremity manipulation, mobilization, soft tissue release, and modalities. He also incorporates rehabilitation exercises to help his patients feel better, perform better, and maintain their health and mobility. Dr. Bernard has a particular interest in working with athletes, especially tennis and soccer players. He understands the unique demands these sports place on the body and tailors his treatments to meet the specific needs of athletes. Additionally, he has experience working with the elderly population, particularly those facing mobility challenges. Dr. Bernard also serves as a medical field therapist for a youth high-performance soccer league known as the Ontario Player Development League (OPDL). In his leisure time, Dr. Bernard immerses himself in the world of tennis. He enjoys playing the sport and is also a certified tennis instructor, allowing him to share his passion and knowledge with others. Outside of sports, he finds relaxation in playing pool, listening to music, and reading.
