Raised in Hope, BC, Dr. Erica Truesdell received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Victoria in 2017. During this time, she completed extensive research in the cognitive effects of mild traumatic brain injury and appeared as co-author in two peer-reviewed publications in Neurobiology of Disease. She then moved to Toronto and earned her Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2021 with cum laude honours. Upon graduation, she returned to the Fraser Valley to pursue a career helping people maintain an active and healthy lifestyle. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and biking. Dr. Truesdell uses a patient-centered and evidence-based approach to manage and prevent a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Her practice incorporates hands-on care in addition to education, stretching, and strengthening exercises. She is trained in a variety of adjunctive techniques including Smart Tools (instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization), K-Tape, Functional Biomechanical Assessment, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, and PEAK Rehab. Dr. Truesdell is a proud member of the College of Chiropractors of BC and the BC Chiropractic Association.
