Dr. Heimbecker was born and raised in Orangeville and is excited to join the Village Chiropractic team. She graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Through their co-operative education program, she has held teaching positions at Centennial College, University of Waterloo’s Professional Development Program, and Humber College’s Human Anatomy Lab. After completing her undergraduate degree, she became certified as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist with the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology. She graduated summa cum laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. Her treatment methods consist of diversified adjusting and mobilization techniques, soft tissue therapy, rehabilitation exercise, acupuncture, and education. She strives to empower patients to live healthy active lifestyles while managing pain and improving motion and strength. Emma is a former Ottawa Valley stepdance instructor and is classically trained in piano and voice. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, baking, and spending time with her dogs.
