Dr. Desmond Stewart Bio

Desmond Stewart, known to many as Dez, was born and raised in St. Catharines, ON. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Brock University before moving to Toronto to attain his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. He’s currently projected to graduate with the Class of 2021. Dez will be working under the supervision of Dr. Macpherson and Dr. Spencer-Yap to complete his educational requirements and assist in providing quality care for his community. Dez is a familiar face around the ProActive Centre. He was previously stationed behind the front desk and could sometimes be found helping athletes in the gym. Since leaving the Centre, Dez has worked as a tutor for school-aged children in the Greater Toronto Area, with a predilection for teaching Math and Science. He has volunteered for a number of charity events and health campaigns, having previous experiences with the Rankin Run, Wise Guys, Regional Public Health programs and Unleash Your Potential among others. Dez is friendly, passionate, and hard-working. He is excited to use his knowledge to help patients and athletes achieve their health and fitness goals during his time with the ProActive team.
