I feel the same as the other contributer here. Dr. David R. Brook gave no warning of his retirement via a letter sent out to all regular patients he’d seen, as his predecessor had kindly done. Don’t know if he sold his practise but, he definitely left long-standing patients in the lurch with no family doctor nor references of same. Disappointed in the end as his patient & especially after the respectful consideration Dr. G. Luckhurst had given to his patients upon his departure, David Brook’s predecessor. Ty

Dr. David Brook of Victoria, BC, is now retired. I believe he’s still doing guest speeches rehis expertise, possibly Geriatrics. As a patient, I was given no warning of his retirement as his predecessor had done. Somewhere courtesy disappeared. Normally, he was a helpful, kind, decent man / doctor; kind, appreciative & thorough. A steady doctor, knowledge of who took over his practice is a super start to good health on his departure.
